Trnava universities continue to develop their cooperation. They also joined forces at the first joint ball!
An exceptional social evening brought together the academic communities of three renowned universities - University of St. Cyril and Methodius, University of Trnava and the Faculty of Materials Technology of STU. The Minister of Education, Science and Research even took over the patronage of the first university ball in Trnava, and he even came to personally open it.
This unique event took place on January 27 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and symbolized not only cooperation and friendship, but also the sharing of knowledge and cultural values.
The idea to unite all three universities in such a social event was born in the head of UCM rector, Professor Katarína Slobodova Nováková, who thanked the entire organizing committee at the beginning of the ball: "I would like to thank all those who worked behind the scenes on this ball." Her words reflect the main idea of the event, which is to strengthen mutual ties and celebrate academic achievements.
The Minister of Education, Science and Research Tomáš Drucker also took part in the ball: "Every collaboration, friendship and positive energy in favor of something better is a good signal and a role model for others." He emphasized that Trnava is not only a city with a rich history, but also a place of knowledge and innovations The minister liked the idea of a joint ball so much that he took over the patronage and personally opened it together with the management of the other Trnava universities.
Miloš Čambál, dean of STU MTF, added: "Life is not only about professional things, but also about emotions and something positive, which this ball definitely represents." Professor Martin Lichner, TRUNI's acting rector, commented: "This ball is the result of long-term cooperation , which has been around for several years."
